Tonight’s MACtion games should feature a lot of exciting touchdowns because all of these defenses have struggled this season.
Northern Illinois at Ball State -14.5
Ball State came back and put up 17 in the fourth quarter last week against Eastern Michigan to win 38-31. Northern Illinois gave up 49 and 40 points in their first two games. They are allowing 6.99 yards per play. Their offense looked decent in their first game of the season against Buffalo when they put up 397 yards and 30 points against the now 2-0 Bulls, however they managed to score just 10 last week against Central Michigan.
I expect Ball State to cover the 14.5 here.
Toledo at Eastern Michigan – Under 61.5
Toledo averages 512 yards of total offense and has scored 38 points in their first two games. On the other side of the ball, Eastern Michigan put up 31 in a loss last week at Ball State. The over in Toledo’s last eight games has hit six times.
Consider the under here at 61.5.
Western Michigan at Central Michigan – Over 58.5
Central Michigan won their first two games with a combined 70 points while allowing only 37 points.
Western Michigan also won their first two games with a combined 99 points, while allowing 51.
Consider the over here.
