We Know The Feeling: Jason Dufner Reacts To Horrible Drive At PLAYERS

We know how you feel, Jason Dufner. We've all had those kinds of days on the golf course. We probably also would have reacted the same way Dufner did after a horrible drive.

The difference, of course, is that Dufner is a professional on the PGA Tour, and he used to be among the best in the game. Now, though, he is more like the rest of us. Or so it seems after watching Dufner's tee shot on the par-four No. 12 hole at THE PLAYERS Championship on Friday.

Immediately after his drive sailed far right, Dufner dropped his club in frustration ... then kicked it away from himself. Clearly, he wanted nothing to do with his shot or the responsible driver.

Dufner eventually gathered himself long enough to finish with a bogey on the hole. As bad luck would have it, he later finished with another bogey on the par-5 14th hole. He finished as a plus-3 on the day, and that is where he stands overall at THE PLAYERS Championship.

Dufner hasn't won a PGA Tour event since 2017 and is coming off his worst two years as an earner since 2008. So it's pretty evident his game could use a swift kick to get it going again. Give the man credit for recognizing it.
