This Thanksgiving Day, all Americans have a lot to be thankful for. Texans fans in particular should also be thankful for JJ Watt. The longtime defensive lineman has been a staple on Houston’s defense for almost a decade, and he just keeps making plays.
On Thursday, Watt came up with another game-changing play. The Detroit Lions were up 7-0 with the football and a chance to add to their lead.
Watt had different plans. The Wisconsin product intercepted a pass from Matthew Stafford and took it back for a score. It would have tied the game, but Ka’imi Fairbairn botched the extra point.
Check out the impressive pick-six.

It was a much-needed play. Houston’s offense hadn’t been able to get anything going. The pick-six from the defense helped spark some momentum in their favor. Since then, things have opened up. The Texans are currently up, 20-14.
