Watch: Jameis Winston Hilariously Gets Knocked Around By Gauntlet Machine

Jameis Winston is a quarterback, not a running back. We should probably note that before ripping on the former No. 1 overall pick for a hilarious clip that went viral on Wednesday during one of the team’s training camp practices.

Some Saints running backs, wide receivers and tight ends were working on a gauntlet machine when Winston decided to participate. I don’t know whether that was planned or improvised, but man, am I glad he did.

Soon after it went viral, Winston took to Twitter to explain what happened. “That second pad on the left got me with that hit stick!” his caption reads.

Winston’s workout videos are a gift that keep on giving. Every couple of weeks, we get another one that cracks us up. And while this news isn’t unexpected, I don’t think we’re going to see the pocket passer run through would-be tacklers anytime soon.

But hey, we’ll give him an A for effort, right?
