Watch Bret Hart and CM Punk Nerd Out About Pro Wrestling



Earlier this week, FS1 aired WWE's 1996 Survivor Series, which featured a classic match between Bret Hart and Stone Cold Steve Austin. Following that, the weekly episode of WWE Backstage on the network featured a conversation between Renee Young, CM Punk, and Hart that was a pleasure to watch for longtime pro wrestling fans.

Punk was deferential to Hart in a way that was particularly endearing, personally thanking him for a classic 1994 cage match at SummerSlam against his brother Owen at the United Center in Chicago. Punk was in attendance that night, and this match apparently made a big impact on him. All in all, it was really cool to hear two legends talk about the psychology of a pro wrestling match.

Punk had a similar segment with Ricky "the Dragon" Steamboat a little while back after FS1 aired WrestleMania III, which featured his classic match against Randy Savage. You can catch that segment at the 13-minute mark below:
