Watch: Alabama Receiver Makes Crushing Tackle to Get Ball Back After INT

Alabama wide receiver John Mitchie may have a future as a safety. He could also have a future as a receiver, but he gave himself -- and a poor Florida defensive back -- something to think about following an interception in their game Saturday.

It all started after Florida's Trey Dean picked off Alabama quarterback Mac Jones during the first quarter. Dean started to return the pick, then Metchie came out of nowhere for a crushing blow that jarred the ball lose. Alabama recovered at Florida's 31-yard line, then scored moments later on Jones touchdown pass to DeVonta Smith.

It was an important play in the SEC Championship Game, helping Alabama take a 14-7 lead. The Crimson Tide built that lead to 35-17 by halftime.
