VIDEO: Will Muschamp Zings Paul Finebaum

South Carolina football coach Will Muschamp joined Paul Finebaum on Thursday, and dropped an all-time zinger on the mouth of the South:

"You need to lead a really boring life right now -- I probably look back to your high school and college days," said Muschamp. "I can't imagine you had many dates. They need to lead their lives like Paul Finebaum did in college. Boring is good right now."

Muschamp is echoing the new normal in college and pro sports right now. For the games to be played, the players (and coaches) are going to have to tamper down sociality, even as others their age are out and about having a good time.

We saw an example at Louisville, where 29 athletes tested positive for Covid-19 and three players were thrown off the soccer team for partying.

It's going to be a jarring adjustment for athletes in their twenties or late teens, but we are going to relentlessly hear coaches preaching about how players cannot socialize right now.
