Video: Taylor Heinicke Goes Full Superman For TD, Sends Twitter Into Frenzy

Update: After briefly heading to the locker room with an apparent shoulder injury, Taylor Heinicke is now back in the game for Washington.

Taylor Heinicke wasn't supposed to be a starting quarterback in a NFL playoff game. But 2021 is proving to be just as wild and crazy as 2020, so anything is possible.

Not only is it possible, it might not be the last time we see the former XFL quarterback starting.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers were double-digit favorites over the Washington Football Team, but Heinicke has his team within two points (16-18) at the end of the third quarter. And how did he get them there?

With this incredible touchdown run.

What a freaking run, right? Heinicke is playing his tail off, and it's showing.

Of course, that impressive scramble got social media buzzing about the 27-year-old out of Old Dominion. Check out some of these reactions.

I mean, guys ... come on.

Epic.
