Video: Sprinklers Randomly Turn on During Clemson-Virginia Tech Game

Clemson is playing its final regular season game on Saturday night against Virginia Tech. That part we expected. What we didn't expect was the sprinkler system to randomly make an appearance in the middle of the game.

The Hokies were up 7-3 o the No. 3 ranked Tigers late in the first quarter when it happened. Check this out.

Now that is something you don't see everyday. We obviously have to bring up the incredible timing, though.

Clemson is known to have a high-powered offense that can attack opponents with a strong run and pass game. What could limit that offense (if that is even possible at this point) are sloppy field conditions.

It should also be noted that this game is at Virginia Tech.

I'm sure this combination won't cause any sort of speculation on social media, right? Wrong.

And this is why we love college football.

Update: Clemson immediately scored to retake the lead (10-7) following the sprinkle debacle. So for anyone saying the Hokies did it on purpose, don't worry ... it's not going to make a difference.
