We can always appreciate a good drawn up trick play, right?
Well, the Atlanta Falcons pulled one off against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday. The play design was OK, but the throw and catch were spectacular.
Wide receiver Russell Gage lined up as a wildcat quarterback. He then took the snap, acted like he was going to run and then stepped back to deliver a strike to fellow receiver Calvin Ridley. It was a perfect throw and an even better catch.
Check it out.

The impressive play tied things up at 7-7 to close the first quarter. Since then, it has been a battle back and forth between these two teams.
The game is now tied at 17 all with the closing seconds of regulation. Could see some overtime here.
