Video: Joe Buck Learns He’s Honored With Pro Football Hall of Fame Pete Rozelle Award

Joe Buck learned during halftime of tonight’s Browns-Bengals game that he would be joining his father, Jack, in being a recipient of the Pro Football Hall of Fame Pete Rozelle award:

The award, named for the longtime former NFL commissioner, honors TV and radio announcers.

Despite what Twitter may have you believe, Buck is a phenomenal play-by-play broadcaster for both football and baseball, and he’s quite deserving of this award. He may well still have a long road ahead of him too.

Here’s the full list of recipients of the award, which includes John Madden, Chris Berman, Tom Jackson, Pat Summerall, Al Michaels, Jim Nantz, and many more.
