Video: Javon Wims Throws Punch, Bears and Saints Fight

Videos by OutKick

Bears receiver Javon Wims was ejected for throwing a punch at Saints safety CJ Gardner-Johnson, and the Bears and Saints got into a skirmish:

On the previous possession, Gardner-Johnson stuck a finger in Wims’ face, and Wims probably carried that with him on the next Bears’ drive.

It is likely that Wims will face further discipline from the NFL for throwing this punch. Even though Gardner-Johnson had incited him on a previous possession, this punch was pretty blatant.

  1. Well just another day for the hood bros playing in the national felon league shows the intelligence level also the one bro throwing punches at the guy with a football helmet on and these idiots went to college lol

    • To be fair to Gardner-Johnson, Wims was doing the helmet in your face thing so he resorted to the Three Stooges face poke – truly a troll move that preceded the assault of the helmet.

When Wims hits GJ, it’s funny how GJ gives off that WTF look. Then he hits him again, and Janoris Jenkins comes out nowhere, jumping on Wims like a spider monkey. As karma would have it, the Bears threw a pick on the next play, and they also lost. Bear Down I suppose.

  2. The Bears are the worst 5-3 team in the history of the league. And they are without any leadership whatsover. Nagy belongs in the CFL with Mark Trestman.
