The NFL is a violent sport. There is no way to avoid it, but that doesn’t make those big hits any less cringeworthy.
On Thursday night, Raiders wide receiver Hunter Renfrow was on the receiving end of one of those vicious hits while returning a kickoff against the Chargers. The hit left Renfrow unconscious on the field.
This is a really nasty looking hit on Hunter Renfrow.

You never want to see that sort of situation unfold.
Renfrow has been a productive receiver and special teams contributor since being drafted in the fifth round of the 2019 NFL Draft. Coming into Thursday night, he had hauled in 96 catches for 1,199 yards and six scores.
We pray that Renfrow is OK.
