Video: Braves Pitcher Turns Amazing Double Play

The main storyline for the Atlanta Braves over the weekend was the 100-percent fan attendance. Seeing Truist Park at full capacity was incredible, but so was this double play pulled off by pitcher Tyler Matzek.

Somehow, Matzek was able to turn a double play off a hit from Phillies outfielder Odubel Herrera. What made it look so impressive was the odd, over-the-shoulder, no-look catch off the bounce. Check it out for yourself.

The Braves (17-17) beat the Phillies 6-1 on Sunday, meaning they have now won five of their last six games. Meanwhile, Philadelphia (18-17) has now dropped two straight after going on a five-game win streak.

Atlanta will return to the field on Tuesday with a home game against the Toronto Blue Jays at 7:20 p.m. ET (6:20 CT).
