Urban Meyer Turns in Florida Assistant Coach He Hired for NCAA Violation

Tonight Outkick the Coverage broke a story about Urban Meyer turning in a former Florida assistant coach he'd hired for an NCAA violation.

You might have noticed that the story is running on FoxSports.com.

That's because Outkick the Coverage and FoxSports.com have entered into a partnership agreeement. OKTC won't change at all, we'll just have a much broader audience. And those times when you try to hop on the site and we're overloaded with traffic and you can't get to our article?

Yeah, that won't happen again.

Which is why FoxSports.com is hosting our latest story.

Thanks to you guys Outkick the Coverage has grown a ton since we launched two years ago and thanks to your readership and support we've had quite a few opportunities with lots of major media companies.

After a lot of conversations FoxSports.com made the most sense and I'm excited about what's to come.

I'll have many more details about the FoxSports partnership with OKTC and what it means for the future -- don't worry we'll still have catfights and buttchugging and the mailbag and everything that you read while you pretend to work -- I have editorial control and Fox doesn't want us to change at all.

We planned on holding the Fox news for a grand announcement after the 4th of July, but then Outkick found out that Urban Meyer was turning in Florida for NCAA violations.

And, well, it kind of seemed like the perfect time to announce the partnership.

There will be more details to come in the near future but in the meantime thanks for all the support from all of us at OKTC and happy 4th of July weekend.

And, once again, don't get between Urban Meyer and a recruit he covets.
