Umbrella Man Is The Lee Harvey Oswald Of Racism

According to Twitter, Minneapolis police solved the George Floyd riots.

Umbrella Man did it.

He is 2020’s Lee Harvey Oswald, a lone AutoZone window-breaker responsible for turning peaceful protests into months of nationwide rioting and looting.

Umbrella Man fits the preferred media profile — a Hell’s Angels biker and white supremacist. Umbrella Man has previous arrests for domestic violence and assault.

The Minneapolis Star Tribune reported Tuesday night: “A Minneapolis police arson investigator said the act of vandalism at the AutoZone on E. Lake Street helped spark a chain reaction that led to days of looting and rioting. The store was among dozens of buildings across the city that burned to the ground in the days that followed.”

Umbrella Man did it. According to police, he vandalized AutoZone in an effort to inflame racial tensions.

Umbrella Man’s motive does not sound any different from the motives of the mainstream media, Black Lives Matter, Antifa, Twitter, Shaun King, LeBron James and most celebrity influencers.

Let me be clear. I am not defending Umbrella Man. I hope he and Derek Chauvin are prosecuted, convicted and severely punished.

But what makes Umbrella Man special?

For nearly a decade, we’ve been watching the media stir racial tension on a daily basis with a fact-less, bogus narrative that police are executing a murderous, genocidal plot against unarmed black people.  This false narrative has led to numerous violent riots across America.

Is this all the work of Umbrella Man? Was he in Ferguson and Baltimore, too? Is Umbrella Man in Portland and Seattle right now? Are the white kids rioting nightly in the Greater Northwest secret members of the Hell’s Angels?

Or is Umbrella Man just another patsy who Twitter and the mainstream media are selling an easily bamboozled American public?

Umbrella Man is the man in the mirror staring back at Black Lives Matter, Antifa, Don Lemon, Rachel Maddow and Malcolm Jenkins. He is a co-conspirator in the self-destruction of America.

Everybody is using the tragic deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, Freddie Gray, Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown, Tamir Rice, Eric Garner, etc., to stir racial tension.

The people pointing to the Umbrella Man as though he’s some special lone gunman are his collaborators. Or they’re Jack Ruby, hired mercenaries sent to cover the trail of the assassins.

Umbrella Man is the perfect name. He’s a shield to protect the other bigots.

  1. Great article, per usual. “Umbrella man” seems to not have a clean closet, which isn’t surprising. As a teacher, “umbrella man” reminds me of a student who misbehaves and disrupts, only to accuse the teacher of unfairness once they get sent to the principal. In schools, that excuse falls on deaf ears and is dismissed. Apparently in certain parts of the country, that student would be hailed as a social justice warrior. The world is just insane.

  2. Jason, thank you. Even as you are driving across the country, you take time to amaze us with your insight and unmatched writing ability…….As for the radical left, they never cease to amaze me with their ridiculous narrative. In a country of over 320 million people, they continue to seek out and find the worst examples of humanity to try to explain away everything in terms of “white-supremacy”. (Leftists, get a clue. We all know racism exists. We all know that every race is capable of every kind of racism. This is true of every country in the world. We do not need to “tear down” our country because of it. We need to work TOGETHER and to remember that love begets love to overcome it) ….Max “woke” Kellerman and the Jemele Hills of the world will probably discuss “Umbrella man” endlessly. Umbrella man will be retweeted all through twitter-land by the woke sheep flock. Reverend Sharp-tongue and sidekick Skip are also sure to weigh in on the groundbreaking Umbrella man story. I haven’t clicked on the wokecenter website in weeks and feel so much better for it. (I’ll never forget Max Kellerman’s rant on “tone deaf” Drew Brees. Hey Max, do you know what tone deaf is? Tone Deaf is the NBA lecturing us on social justice while turning a blind eye to genocide. Tone deaf is calling law enforcement fascists for defending themselves after fireworks are shot at them. Tone deaf is the elitist media carefully editing videos so that law enforcement looks like the aggressors as opposed to purple haired white kids firing ball bearings with sling shots ). …….Thank God for OutKick!

  3. Jason, I didn’t expect to get to read another insightful column today because you had mentioned that your’e in the process of moving out of LA. But thank you! I laughed at the thought of Rachel Maddow and Malcom Jenkins using “Umbrella Man” to “solve” the cause of the George Floyd Riots! As worrisome as it can be hearing the lies from leftist media who want to destroy our country, I needed to read this. I only wish more journalists would call out the media on their complete nonsense.

  4. As the great Howard Schnellenberger said when Nebraska ran the Fumblerooski in the Orange Bowl “If they ever run the damn thing you could rest assured that you have them beat because they don’t run that unless they’re unable to move the ball any other way.”

The Left knows their crazy bizzaro world values have lost the majority of Americans. All they have left are the non-working poor, wealthy elites and college/twenty something elites who are insulated from reality.

      • Thank you Sir, I forgot something I wanted to add, multi-tasking…

As the great Tucker Carlson said in his (relatively) new book Ship of Fools: “Electing Trump was not a cry for help from the middle class of America, it was a howl of rage”.

We are sick to death of career politicians, endless wars (fought by middle class kids) and Sociology professors teaching our kids that Mom and Dad are capitalist pigs for $60k per year in tuition. Not to mention the Obama phones, that one still chafes me.

        • Amen…and “White Fragility” is coming to our HR departments and to our diversity training, and The 1619 project of pseudo-journalism, self-admitted NON-historical work, is coming to our classrooms. I’d say we’ve got ’em on the run!!!

          • They are winning the moment, but losing the War IMHO. We’ll know for sure in November, but I suspect the silent majority will send a loud and clear message. I live in blue collar coastal town, lots of military. There are no diversity training courses at my work, nor any others locally that I know of. We hire the best people and could care less what their parents look like or which background they come from. Best of all we leave our politics at the door.

  5. I will ask Jason one pertinent question.
Why do rich people, such as Bill Gates, the Hollywood celebs and politicians, preach for socialism for the minions all the while they practice full time capitalism in their riches gatherings?
By asking my question, it’s obvious that I’m either too naive, ignorant or have a low IQ to be able to figure out the why of the above mentioned going on’s.

    • Stan – I’m no Dr. Whitlock, but I would love to share my perspective on the subject you reference. My belief is that people’s political leanings change depending on their life experiences. And its possible people can swing dramatically depending on what they experience (or do not experience) in their day to day life.

I was raised by “better off than most” Liberal Parents. God Bless them they are still liberals. My politics changed about 7 years ago when I got involved with Section 8 housing landlord/tenant law. What changed me from a Liberal to a Conservative was the amount of waste I saw on a daily basis. Many of the tenants were wonderful human beings, they’d give you the shirt off their back, play guitar in the church band, you name it. But they had been raised by parents who were 100% dependent on the government for their livelihood. They had never held a steady job and never intended to hold a steady job. In turn, they would bring up their kids to do the same. As Whitlock says, we taught them that a welfare check could take the place of a productive Father in the home.

Bill Gates, Brad Pitt, DiCaprio, (insert woke celeb name here ________) Have likely experienced the opposite. Many of them came up in a competitive business environment where you had to work very hard to be successful. Even Actors, many had to work their tails off and make huge sacrifices. But once they make it to the top of their field, they become so disconnected from reality that they no longer see the stuff I saw every day as a Section 8 landlord. They buy into the false narrative that every underprivileged person is a victim of some successful person who stepped on their necks to get ahead.

“To believe in personal responsibility would be to destroy the whole special role of the anointed, whose vision casts them in the role of rescuers of people treated unfairly by ‘society. ‘ ”
      – Dr. Thomas Sowell

      • I was being facetious in the last of my comment and your response is no excuse for the question itself.
My point was that whether grown up poor, middle income or wealthy but then telling others how to live their lives while doing completely the opposite is disingenuous as hell.

    • Excellent question. I believe their are several reasons and it depends upon the person. Many people who are committed leftists or socialists but who somehow became wealthy (many inherited it) have little understanding of basic economics and view it as a fixed pie, a zero sum game. More for others means less for them. Others somehow view their wealth as “the gods smiling on them” so to speak. Therefore they believe they are smarter, better, superior to the peons and have the right to dictate to them. And then you have the Gates’ of the world who are so fabulously wealthy through their own ingenuity that they believe they are intellectually and morally superior to all others. They live in gated communities and in a sort of bubble that insulates them
from most of the real world. They hob-nob solely with people like them and are surrounded by toadies who tell them how brilliant they are. They become detached from reality. Just my observations from years working in the financial industry.
