UCF Fails To Cover Against ECU Because Of Course They Did

UCF beat ECU 51-28 in today in a game that opened up at -27.5 in Central Florida's favor. That would fail to cover the spread by just four points because of course it did. Seems like we forgot these guys out in Vegas get paid to steal our money.

Don't blame Dillon Gabriel as he threw for 408 yards with four TD's, but we can point the finger at UCF's late game defense. Giving up 14 points in the fourth quarter did us gambling addicts in and other than Bama, you can never trust late-game college defense. Human nature lets the foot off the gas pedal and it cost us our hard earned money.

Today's bad beat is a bit predictable since the spread was so one-sided. Overall, UCF's defense was tough but prevent-type defense late-game allowed for more room in the air when the game got out of hand. I guess this is what we get for gambling the spread on AAC games.

Unfortunately today an absolutely hideous garbage time touchdown screwed us over in the final seconds of a pointless drive. Part of gambling is accepting that Vegas lives for these moments when they honestly happen all the time.

Hang in there college football fans!
