Twitter Map Shows America Wants Chiefs To Win Super Bowl

A Twitter map of the United States has revealed that the Kansas City Chiefs are America's team for Super Bowl LV. Only 17 states are rooting for Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

How did the map come about? Well, allow Pete Grathoff of the Kansas City Star to explain.

"NFL writers at sportsinsider.com, which offers tips for bettors, tracked more than 200,000 geotagged tweets over the past week, looking for phrases in each state such as #ChiefsKingdom, #RunItBack, #RaiseTheFlags and #GoBucs," Grathoff wrote. "This methodology may make mathematicians roll their eyes, but c’mon, it’s fun to study."

These results aren't necessarily a huge surprise. After all, some football fans may simply be suffering from Brady Burnout. This marks his 10th Super Bowl appearance, though it is his first with the Buccaneers. Brady has won six, more than any player in history. If he wins again Sunday, he'll have more than any team, including the New England Patriots.

Meanwhile, the Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes is looking to win his second in two years. Based on this Twitter map, that's exactly what American football fans want to happen.
