Tuscaloosa Police Assault Alabama Students

The relationship between city police and college students is always fraught with peril. The college kids drink and party and the cops have to respond to their messes. Lots of times there's a great deal of discord from both parties.

But this video, which is going viral, is pretty ugly.

Tuscaloosa police respond to an off-campus noise complaint and, well, just watch for yourselves.

It's amazing that all these cops act like they did -- especially the first guy -- while knowing that a camera was recording them. Of course, we don't see every interaction between the cops and the college kids, but based on what we do see it's hard to believe these college kids were being very aggressive.

Roll Tide.
