NHL's Tucker Poolman Takes Puck To The Face, Suffers Serious Leakage

If you thought Winnipeg Jets defenseman Tucker Poolman was done after taking a puck to the face and leaving a trail of blood during Game 3 of the Jets first-round playoff game against Calgary, you'd be mistaken. I'm not a hockey guy, but it looked like a wrister off the stick of Mikael Backlund that caught Tucker right in the face and opened him up pretty good.

But Tucker's a real hockey guy and he's not going to let a face shot take him out. And he's for sure not going to the hospital because it's outside the NHL bubble and who knows what happens when one of these guys tries to get back from a hospital visit. Tucker's not finding out because there he was at the start of the third period on the bench wearing a cage and sporting a swole face.

Hockey guy tough.

The Flames went on to win 6-2 and took a 2-1 lead in the series. Game 4 is Thursday.
