President Trump: We Have COVID-19 Cure

Friday, President Donald Trump held a virtual rally on the Rush Limbaugh Show. Over the course of the program, the two generated plenty of headlines, including a supposed cure for coronavirus.

“We have something that will cure COVID-19," Trump tells Limbaugh.

Trump is referring to the Regeneron cocktail, which he took under compassionate use during his stay at Walter Reed National Medical Center.

“I was in not great shape. But we had a medicine that healed me."

Trump credited the drug for the reason he is talking to Limbaugh today. He said he is working to get the antibody-drug approved and out to hospitals soon.

"We’re sending that to all our hospitals. This is stuff that’s so good, it wiped out the virus.”

George D. Yancopoulos, MD, president and chief scientific officer of Regeneron, said the drug has “rapidly reduced viral load and associated symptoms in infected COVID-19 patients."

Undoubtedly, the media will push back. CNBC's Jim "what deal can we have Crazy Nancy" Cramer is already triggered.

President Trump did recover within a few days. If — and it's still an if — the Regeneron cocktail can do the same for other Americans suffering from COVID, it would be a game-changer.

Root for good news.
