Trump Plans 'Major Announcement' About Social Media For Wednesday

Former President Donald Trump has an important announce to make on Wednesday. According to Newsmax, that announcement could include his future plans for a new social media platform, which we have been hearing about for some time now.

"Mr. Trump will have a major announcement about social media," a source told Newsmax.

This is a direct response from Trump after he was banned from top social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter. And it now feels like we could finally get some concrete plans on what the future holds for this long rumored social media platform.

Newsmax is planning to carry the event, which will happen live at Trump National Golf Club Bedminster in New Jersey. The start time for the press conference is set for 11 a.m. ET (10 a.m. CT).

I don't know about you, but I'll be fascinated to see what this is all about. People have long been wanting to move their online presence off of Facebook, Twitter and Instagram due to their willingness to ban and silence free speech.

Trump is still wildly popular with million of conservatives, and he now might be planning to put efforts into another social media option. How would this decision impact the established social media giants? We might be finding out soon.
