Dan Connolly of The Athletic shared via Twitter that the Toronto Blue Jays have found an official home for the 60 game season… in Buffalo. The news comes just five days before the team is scheduled to play its ‘home opener’ against the defending World Series champs, the Washington Nationals.
Breaking: Sources say the Blue Jays will be playing in Buffalo for sure this year. Not Baltimore. The wait is over.

There are also reports that the Blue Jays still have issues to hash out at the stadium in their new Buffalo home, like lighting. Time is of the essence but Major League Baseball has proven they will get this done with their heave at the buzzer to change the postseason format.
The Blue Jays and Buffalo have to work out some stadium issues such as lighting, says @Ken_Rosenthal But according to sources, the Jays are shuffling to Buffalo and the Orioles won’t have a roomie from north of the border in 2020.

This latest agreement is even further proof that Major League Baseball is invested to get this season going. Plenty can throw this season off the rails, so the Blue Jays’ ability to slap this together at the last second gives fans another reason to believe the 2020 season goes through.
Major League Baseball kicks off with a full slate of games today with the Atlanta Braves facing Cy Young award winner Jacob DeGrom.
Baseball fans around the world were shown light at the end of the tunnel with opening day, but the Blue Jays locking Buffalo in as home proves 2020 baseball is just getting started.
Hey Gary,
Thank you! Great news that the Jays will have a home this year. Thing is, five days isn’t much time to hash out the problems like lighting; a Batman-like BLM beacon up over centerfield. Can the local landscaper cut a BLM into the grass out behind the mound? Gotta get this minor league operation up to speed!!! (Not laughing, but smiling a little)
