And then there was one…conference that has yet to decide if it’ll play football this fall
By the end of the day we could possibly have all DI conferences coming back to play football this fall. A full return depends on the Mid-American Conference saying they’re BACK. And there was talk Thursday night that the NCAA is thinking about dropping win requirements to play in bowl games. This is exactly what I’ve been calling for over the last decade or so. If a city needs a team and thinks that team will bring enough fans, send them to the bowl.
Have you heard how the Las Vegas Strip is pretty much a slum these days? A shooting in front of Aria late Tuesday was the latest in a growing number of headlines out of Sin City. I’m starting to run out of places to put on my travel list for 2021. Northern Michigan is starting to look really good for a multiple year run for my vacation money. The problem is that people from Chicago have the same idea and clog up the eastern shores of Lake Michigan. I’m thinking of spending most of my time east of I-75. Treetops sounds awfully great right about now.
