Tony Romo Has COVID, Boomer Esiason Steps In For Cardinals-Rams

Videos by OutKick

Tony Romo has tested positive for COVID-19, according to Miami Herald’s Barry Jackson. CBS is calling on Boomer Esiason to call Cardinals-Rams tomorrow, which will make the game much less enjoyable.

Who knew we’d ever love listening to Tony Romo?

Romo might be the commentator in sports today, so this news blows from a fan’s perspective. Luckily for Tony, he’s a 40-year-old healthy adult that has over a 99% chance to survive this virus.

Per usual, we’re wishing for a full recovery with no setbacks, but we might feel more compelled to pray for the guy if he gets that vaccine.
