Tommy Tuberville, the former head football coach at Ole Miss, Auburn, Texas Tech, and Cincinnati, is running for Senate in Alabama. He’s in a runoff primary election, which will take place July 14th, versus Jeff Sessions, the former attorney general of Donald Trump.

Tonight, the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office shared a photo of a bus promoting Tuberville’s campaign on fire on the side of the highway.

INTERSTATE SHUTDOWN: A Recreational Vehicle is currently on fire at the 227 mile marker of I-59 North, shutting down the northbound lane. The driver escaped uninjured.

Citing a spokesperson for the sheriff’s office, WAFF in Huntsville reports that Tuberville was not on the RV; the driver was the only person in the vehicle, and he escaped unscathed.
