Tommy Lasorda Celebrates 93rd Birthday, Favre Takes Grandson To Watch Brady & Airbnb's First Email

That quiet period before SEC opening weekend kicks off

I spent the night passed out on the couch due to a head cold -- not COVID -- and it was perfect timing for something like this to pop up. Tuesday & Wednesday are known this time of year as nights off for me. No football on TV. No NBA. And three outs of the Reds game. That's it. It was a great night to pass out and get fueled up for another five days of football.

Mac Jones gets the start Saturday for Alabama at Missouri. The last time we saw Jones, he was thumping Michigan in the Citrus Bowl after a valiant effort against Auburn where he threw 335 yards, 4 TDs & 2 INTs. The problem this season for Jones is that Bryce Young will be on the bench. There's your storyline this season. He was the No. 1 ranked dual threat quarterback in the 2020 class. He's going to play, it's just a matter of how much and when does he get the full-time starter job.

I know it's several days out, but I need you guys to clear your schedule for Monday night. It's Chiefs-Ravens week. Get your sleep, clear the head colds, and buckle up for a massive weekend of football action. We deserve it!
