Coming Of Age With Toby Keith, An American Legend | Tomi Lahren

Country music legend Toby Keith passed away this week at the age of 62 after a grueling and hard-fought battle with stomach cancer.

Toby Keith and his music will always hold a special place in my heart.

Not only was he my first concert, he was one of the greatest country singers of all time.

His song, "Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue," written and released after the 9/11 terror attacks will forever be the anthem of the pissed-off American.

Many people probably don’t know this about Toby, but he didn't get his big break in country music until his mid-30s.

Prior to that, he worked as a derrick hand in the oil fields of Oklahoma. He was one of us.

A hard-working American from humble roots with big dreams and a lot of grit.

Toby loved country music, his fans and this great country and we could use more artists like him in country music, and music in general.

Rest in peace, legend.

Those are my Final Thoughts, from Nashville God bless and take care.
