Tom Brady's Dad Speaks About Son's October Meeting With His Former Team In Foxboro

Tom Brady's dad is not holding back about his son's the old team, the Patriots. This morning on Zoand and Bertrand on 985 The Sports Hub, he gave his take on the Bucs and the game everyone is talking about: Week Four when Brady takes on his old team, the Pats.

Senior NFL reporter Albert Breer reports that Brady Sr. talked about how his son is going to get the revenge he wants against Bill Belichick and the Pats.

"I started salivating when I saw that we're playing the Patriots in the fourth game of the season; and we're coming up here to make our record 4-0," Brady Sr. said.

The October 3rd primetime Sunday night game is already one of the most anticipated games on the 2021 slate. The Bucs and the Pats have not met since Tom Brady inked with Tampa Bay last offseason.

If you are in the New England/Foxborough area, make sure you save your pennies for the game, as it won't be easy to get in for anyone.

SeatGeek estimates the average resale price will be about $600 for the Sunday night affair.

If you go back and look at how quarterbacks have fared against their old teams, you'll see a mixed bag.

Hall of Fame 49ers QB Joe Montana never faced his old team in San Francisco. He beat the Niners at Arrowhead Stadium when he played for the Chiefs, but never in San Fran.

Peyton Manning did have success in Denver, beating Indy 39-33 in Mile High Stadium.

We will see how Brady and company fare in early October in beautiful Foxboro.
