Tom Brady Updates Twitter Handle With Bitcoin Eyes

For context, Blockworks' Jason Yanowitz tweeted out to Tom Brady that he should hop aboard the Bitcoin train and change his avi to the signature "laser eyes." Doing so would essentially be an endorsement of the surging cryptocurrency:

And Tom Brady delivered, as he always does.

There's no telling if the G.O.A.T. operates his own Twitter account, but he knows exactly what he's doing here. For one, he's likely pumping in his own money first, and then he endorses and awaits for the inevitable Bitcoin surge. We've seen Elon Musk do the same for Doge coin on Saturday Night Live, and it won't be the last time a celebrity makes this move.

And secondly, it's good P.R. He's one of us now.

Tom Brady seems more relatable than ever, and it almost makes us forget he doesn't actually need Bitcoin to do jack squat. He's worth $250 million. His wife? 400 million. If Bitcoin works out, then cool. If not -- oh well. Still worth it to make a post and go viral if you're Tom Brady.
