Tom Brady Shares Belichick-Inspired New Year's Resolution

Tom Brady and Bill Belichick last met on a football field during the first weekend of October (a 19-17 Buccaneers win). Unless they find themselves competing in the Super Bowl, Tampa Bay and New England won't square off again until 2025. But the lack of face-to-face time doesn't mean Tom Terrific isn't still thinking about The Hoodie. In fact, Belichick has made his way into Brady's New Year's resolution.

Following New England's loss to Buffalo on Sunday, a reporter went viral for asking Belichick, "football aside," if he had any New Year's resolutions he wanted to share with his fans and her readers. In what played out like an SNL skit, Belichick deadpanned, "No. Not right now." The reporter shot back a quick, "Ok, thanks." And then everyone was onto Cincinnati...until the second the video made its way to social media, of course.

Not surprisingly, the reporter-coach exchange made its way to Brady's eyes and ears and prompted QB12 to share his own 2022 resolution. "I want to be as brave and courageous as she was, asking that question to Coach Belichick after a loss," Brady said via his Let's Go! podcast. "That's what I want for the New Year," added a laughing Brady.

Who knew Brady and Belichick would still be handing out gifts post-Christmas?
