Tom Brady Makes A Surprise Phone Call To Golfer Tony Finau During The Masters

When the greatest quarterback in NFL history by all accounts makes a special phone call to you - you do what you can to get to the phone.

Tom Brady on Saturday decided during hour plus rain delay at Augusta National to make a special phone call to golfer Tony Finau, who at the time was chasing Hideki Matsuyama in the tourney.

The Super Bowl winning quarterback of the Buccaneers identified himself to Jimmy Dunne, a member of Augusta National, and quickly the phone was passed to Finau.

"Somebody wants to talk to you," Dunne told the golfer.

The call came in on Facetime, so when Finau saw that it was Brady, he right away was not only stunned but honored to get the call.

The quarterback cracked on Finau (and his fellow golfers) for sitting out during the rain down in Georgia.

"In the NFL, when it rains, we don't stop," Brady jokingly said to Finau, who replied simply with "maybe we're not as tough as you guys."

In a good natured rib Brady wish Finau well, and told him to keep pushing away and playing hard.

Brady isn't the only quarterback making headlines this week at Augusta National, as the Chiefs Patrick Mahomes, soon to be drafted Trevor Lawrence and new Washington QB Ryan Fitzpatrick were all in attendance this week at the event.
