Tom Brady memorabilia has generated millions of dollars, even for the smallest Brady-related items. So Brady has decided to get a piece of that large pie. And it won’t just involve Brady himself or the NFL.
As relayed by Yahoo News, Brady is launching a company called “Autograph,” whose purpose will be to sell digital memorabilia from athletes and celebrities.
“Autograph will bring together some of the world’s most iconic names and brands with best in class digital artists to ideate, create and launch NFTs and ground-breaking experiences to a community of fans and collectors,” co-founder and CEO of Autograph Dillon Rosenblatt told CNN.
Brady will act as co-chair of the company, along with millionaire businessman Richard Rosenblatt. Others involved include Lionsgate CEO Jon Filthier and Live Nation Entertainment CEO Michael Rapino, as well as three DraftKings founders.
This news couldn’t come at a better time for Brady. After all, a Brady rookie card just sold for a whopping $2.3 million.
“Brady himself is no stranger to selling his personal brand.” noted Grace Kay of Yahoo. “In February, Brady merchandise sales set records as he became the best-selling NFL player ever, according to Reuters.”
