Tom Brady Finally Addresses Nick Foles Handshaking Controversy

Tom Brady was asked Thursday about this Nick Foles handshaking controversy that just won't go away, especially after Brady walked off without shaking hands with Foles after a loss to the Bears in Week 5. Eagles fans lost their minds again Sunday when a photo of Brady chatting with a fellow Michigan Man surfaced after Tampa beat the Packers. Irrational Philly fan officially had enough of Tom chatting when he wins and walking off as a sore loser when a game doesn't go his way.

It was finally time for someone to step up during a Zoom press conference and ask Tom why he has a problem with Foles, a harmless guy who is just looking for a little admiration from the greatest quarterback of all-time.

"I didn't even think about that,” Brady said Thursday. “I think Nick Foles is a hell of a player, Super Bowl champ. I don't think it's anything in particular except I have great admiration for Nick, and he's off to a helluva start.''

Brady added that he has personal relationships with guys such as Drew Brees, Justin Herbert and Aaron Rodgers, and he'll stop to say hello after games. He claims this isn't some planned effort to not shake Foles' hand.

Meanwhile, Foles isn't bothered any of this. He continues to say all the right things. He was once against asked about the snubs.

“You know it’s happened a few times. Someday, Tom and I will have a great conversation about it and probably laugh about it. It is what it is. I think he’s a tremendous player.”

Foles might meet his supposed enemy in the playoffs this year, so this conversation could happen even sooner than expected.
