Todd Gurley didn’t mince words after the Falcons lost 30-16 to the Packers. The 0-4 Atlanta team needs “one f–king win,” according to the running back.
With the team at 0-4 and the head coach likely to be fired, the Falcons decided to leave it all out on Lambeau Field. Their willingness to take risks led Gurley to a remarkable performance that included 16 carries for 57 yards and two touchdowns.
The Falcons defense continues to be a major problem, giving up the second-most points in the NFL (138) to the Cowboys (146). Even without Davante Adams and Allen Lazard, Aaron Rodgers was still able to carve up that horrendous Falcons defense for 327 yards and four TDs.
“Nobody’s going out there to f–k up on purpose,” Gurley said. “Whatever we’re doing is just not enough.”
"Let's just start off with getting one f____ing win."

Even Matt Ryan gave it all, throwing blocks for Gurley with his team down 18 in the 4th quarter. Some quarterbacks would protect themselves to fight another day. Not Matty Ice.
“We have 12 games to go and six of them are in division, so we have some definite ground to make up,” Ryan said after the game. “We got to find a way to make it up quick. You can’t feel sorry for yourself. We are in the position that we are in because of what we have done. We are also the people that can correct it. So that has to be the focus. We have to get a win next week. We have to find a way to get it done against a tough division opponent.”
