Titans Still Looking At Options At No. 22; Not Above Moving Down

Jon Robinson has done a sensational job as general manager for the AFC South's Tennessee Titans. He took over a team that went just 5-27 in two seasons before he came along.

Robinson will again have his work cut out for him starting on Thursday when the Titans make the 22nd pick of the 2021 NFL Draft.

Teams from around the league have selected some solid players at No. 22 since roughly 2008.

In 2013, the Falcons picked up defensive back Desmond Trufant, who has been solid.

QB Brandon Weeden was one of the many QBs taken by Cleveland over the years, and he was their starter on Day One.

WR Percy Harvin wasn't the biggest receiver in the game, but he seemed to make plays and had a tendency to sniff out the end zone.

WR Demaryius Thomas won a Super Bowl with Denver and also won a playoff game against the Steelers when he pulled in a touchdown from Tim Tebow on the first play of overtime.

Finally, running back Felix Jones was a 22nd overall pick for the Dallas Cowboys. He played six seasons in the NFL, five with the Cowboys and one in Pittsburgh. In his best season back in 2010, Jones ran for 800 yards.

So what does Robinson, Coach Mike Vrabel and the Titans do with No. 22 in 2021?

Robinson stated in a pre-draft presser Monday that the team isn't above moving back 4-6 picks in the first round of the draft, if it means the team can get better in the process.

"You don't want to trade back just to trade back," Robinson said.

We will see the route the Titans take come Thursday.
