TikTok Star Turns Father’s Funeral Into Instagram Photoshoot

Is there a rock bottom for social media clout chasers who are willing to stand on cliffs and die for content? Falling to your death is definitely rock bottom because the social media star doesn’t get to post the epic content of splattering against a giant piece of granite.

A solid second place on the rock bottom of social media has to be TikTok star Jayne Rivera deciding it would be a smart idea to do an Instagram photo shoot next to her dead father’s casket.

โ€œButterfly fly away. Rip Papi you were my best friend. A life well lived,โ€ Jayne wrote on the Instagram post, which has since been shredded by furious followers and others who are outraged that she’d turn her father’s funeral into a shoot.

โ€œNot cool Jayne, ur dad was a decorated vet, a photo shot by his casket should be beneath you. May he rest in eternal peace,โ€ one person wrote in the comments.

โ€œS**t is just vile, and down right disgusting,โ€ said another.

โ€œThe fact that u would post something like this tells us everything we need to know about you,โ€ another outraged commenter wrote.

Rivera doesn’t seem concerned by the people telling her to show some respect. The post is still live and has now caught the attention of media outlets around the world. She figured out how to funnel people through her Instagram account to her website which then gives people the chance to pay $17.99 for her OnlyFans page.

“The social media generation has officially hit rock bottom,” one person wrote about Rivera’s funeral shoot.

In a GoFundMe set up by Jayne Rivera, she claims her father, Jose, was a permanently disabled Purple Heart Afghanistan veteran who struggled with mental illness and died via a fatal drug overdose.

“We are left with no life insurance on my father and $65,000 in debt,” she added.

The GoFundMe has raised $720 since October 15.

Where does Jayne go from here? She’s a Florida Woman. Time will tell, but there’s a good chance this isn’t the last time we’ve heard from Ms. Rivera.

You’ve been warned. Athletes and rich guys with massive credit lines should be on high alert. It feels like Ms. Rivera will eventually hook into a member of the Tampa Bay Rays bullpen or the Buccaneers secondary.
