Football is back, but that doesn’t mean 2020 is getting better. Particularly, if you run into a loose tiger in Knoxville.
The Knox County Sheriff’s Office said a tiger is on the run and was spotted in Knoxville, Tennessee, late Wednesday.
Warnings are out if you spot it:
Just to be clear…
We have a TIGER on the loose in Knox County, a PIG on the run in Henry County and a WALLABY on the lam in Washington County.
You are now all caught up on this day in 2020.https://t.co/L3zpYPSDtG

A trap has been set.
TIGER TALK: The trap for the Tiger spotted in #Knoxville is a humane bear trap and hanging inside is a “grocery store chicken”
This area where it was spotted is dense with foliage, but there is a water source near it — which is helpful for the Tiger, if you’re curious. @6News

If captured, the tiger will be taken to Tiger Haven in Roane County, which confirms it is not missing any animals.
2020 will forever be known as the “Year of the Tiger.” During quarantine, Tiger King took over pop culture (and your life). Today, the story is on-going as Carole Baskin, like the tiger near Knoxville, is free and roaming the streets.
If you run into the tiger, or Baskin, don’t keep it a secret. Get help.
