They’re Real And They’re Spectacular: Joe Burrow Comments On ‘Definitely Real’ Jewelry

Hours before leading Cincinnati to an AFC Championship, Joe Burrow strolled into Kansas City's Arrowhead Stadium with a diamond encrusted "JB9" chain comfortably positioned around his neck. Pictures of the bling had social media buzzing about whether the diamonds were real or as phony as the Chiefs' second-half offense. Burrow wasted little time settling the question.

"They're definitely real. I make too much money to have fake ones," Burrow said in response to questions about his chain.

Burrow's authenticity shouldn't come as a surprise. He's always looked and played the part of a man with ice in his veins. His ability to stay cool under the pressure of overtime in Kansas City, with a Super Bowl berth on the line, was as real as his diamonds.

“He just finds a way to make plays when there isn’t a play to be made,” head coach Zac Taylor said. “It makes my life much easier."

Cincinnati's third-year coach continued his praise of Burrow, addressing his ho-hum statistics (250 yards and two touchdowns) that were bested by his late game poise.

“When the game is on the line, he is going to figure it out," added Taylor.

Thanks to a four-year contract that pays him more than $36 million, Burrow's also figured out how to find very real jewelry.

The only ice he's missing now is a Super Bowl ring. It doesn't get any cooler than that.
