At long last, Tiger Woods finally won another PGA Tour event, winning the Tour Championship at East Lake on Sunday. It was his first tour win in over five years and the 80th in his career. Here’s some examples of folks who thought it would never happen again.

How long does Tiger Woods have to be done before we admit he's done? Cos he's ***king done.

Tiger Woods will never win another major, &probably not another tournament, period. He's just done as a true, high-level golfer. He can stick around, but he'll just be making up numbers.

Really glad/surprised that Tiger Woods showed up for the Champions Dinner, though it is yet another sign that his career really is over… https://t.co/gVgsW4Fu5m

I firmly believe Tiger is done, but never has it been so clear that golf is in good hands, anyway. What an awesome year of majors.

Can we officially say Tiger is done — so sad, really.
— Andy Furman (@AndyFurmanFSR) August 13, 2015
Again as I said last week, Tiger is done. And that's sad. Greatness deferred.

Man… Tiger is done. Seems crazy to me that a guy that physically fit could go down like this, in golf, to injury.

I believe if I played Tiger at my club I would be giving him strokes. He's in disarray. Mechanical, physical, mental, Never win again,no way

I think we need to mentally prep for the ugly reality that it's over for Tiger. No today, but forever. Sad that's not a hot take.
