The Office Is Off Netflix, But You Can Still Stream It

We're all glad 2020 is behind us, but for those of us who are fans of NBC's The Office, the new year means losing our favorite show to NBCUniversal's Peacock streaming service. That's right, starting Jan. 1, Netflix's most popular show will officially move to a new platform.

You can still watch the first two seasons of the show for free using Peacock's "free tier," but seasons 3-9 will require a Peacock subscription that runs you $4.99/month.

If we're being honest, Netflix subscribers aren't likely to spend the additional money. Everyone loves themselves some Michael Scott, but is he worth another subscription you'll barely touch? If you want to watch the show without ads, it'll cost you $9.99/month. Brutal.

One feather in the cap for NBC is that they'll offer bonus content that includes curated episode collections, behind-the-scenes footage, and Zen ambient noise with sounds from the series.

Considering the extra cost that we're just not that interested in paying right now, good luck with this, NBC.
