The Match 3 Will Include Charles Barkley, Stephen Curry

The Match 3 will not include legendary athletes Tigers Woods or Tom Brady. It will, however, have a couple of new faces that should continue to make the event "must watch" television.

On Thursday, it was announced that Charles Barkley and Golden State Warrior guard Stephen Curry will be joining the event. The group already includes Phil Mickelson and Peyton Manning.

Adding Barkley to the group playing will make things even more interesting. The former All-NBA power forward was a part of The Match 2 that took place back in May, but only as an event commentator. Now, he'll get to show off his skills on the links.

The event is set to take place on Friday, Nov. 27. Interesting enough, that will be less than two weeks after The Masters is set to take place, which means people will have an opportunity to compare the games of Barkley and Curry to those at the highest level.

Curry said in May that, after witnessing the impressive event, he wanted in on The Match 3 . Now it looks as if the three-time NBA champion has gotten his wish, joining a trio of personalities like Mickelson, Manning and Barkley.

Should be a fun day out on the course.
