The Masters in Weather Delay, But Augusta Forecast Looks Promising

The Masters was already delayed for eight months, and now it's going to be delayed for a couple more hours. Heavy rain and thunderstorms in Augusta triggered the delay -- here's what it looks like at the moment:

That's a big yikes, especially if floods accumulate.

The good news, though, is that the weather forecast indicates that this grossness will dissipate in the next couple hours. The Augusta forecast from weather.com lists thunderstorms in the 10 am hour. In the 11 am hour, there may be isolated thunderstorms but only a 30 percent chance of rain. Then for noon, the forecast shifts to mostly cloudy with a 15 percent chance of rain.

Putting my unofficial meteorologist hat on, I think they should be playing again by lunch time.
