Update: at 5:40 ET we can now confirm that we have been duped. Falcons fans, you can breathe again. Well, kinda. A fake account got the Twitter feeds buzzing and we fell into it. Our bad.
Here is what they got us with, if you are interested:
According to Falcons beat writer Orlando Ledbetter, the Atlanta Falcons will interview Florida Gators head coach Dan Mullen on Tuesday via Zoom.
This has to be a joke.

The Atlanta Falcons are expected to interview Florida Gators head coach Dan Mullen on Tuesday via Zoom from team offices in Flowery Branch.

The Twitter streets are rumbling with disappointment, but the Falcons haven’t done much for fans to be happy about lately. ESPN’s Jordan Cornette had plenty to say about Mullen after Florida got rolled 55-20 by Oklahoma in the Cotton Bowl.
“Why is this guy leading a [Florida] program? He doesn’t seem fit to do so.”

Mullen is already questioning his role at Florida, so why would he suddenly qualify for the NFL? Mullen deserves at least some credit for leading his Gators to an 8-2 record, but with so many of his players bowing out of their bowl game commitment, his ability to lead men remains in doubt.
Did Dan Mullen deserve as much as a call? Judging from his peers’ reaction to this news, probably not.
The account tweeting was fake and was deleted
I saw the meme where Mullen entered the transfer portal…BWAHAHAHAHA
