That's A Lot Of Massage Therapists for Watson, Former NFL Exec Says

More than 20 different massage therapists have claimed that Deshaun Watson committed sexual misconduct against them, but almost 20 other massage therapists have defended him, saying they are "deeply troubled" by those claims.

Regardless of where you stand, that is an alarming number of massage therapists, and Andrew Brant, a former NFL executive with the Packers, took notice. He tweeted about it on Thursday afternoon.

"Making no statement on innocence/guilt of Deshaun Watson, but the number of therapists is unusual," Brant tweeted. "Many players get massages with standing appointments with same therapist. In Green Bay there were 2-3 that most players (and I) used. Most teams have a couple that work with them."

Brant certainly isn't wrong.

In fact, OutKick's Dr. David Chao brought up a similar point last week, saying the situation "didn't pass the smell test" for him. It isn't consistent with the way athletes normally behave in regards to massage therapists.

Here's a video of Chao breaking things down.

In Chao's article with OutKick, he made this point:

It's tough to argue with that.
