Fans can argue ’til the cows come home if this gesture is appropriate, but you can’t defend showboating before you hit the showers a loser. For their own sake, athletes around the world should have better sense of when games are “over”, because this wasn’t close.
A two possession game with 3:13 remaining IN COLLEGE?! Bowman clearly didn’t watch enough college football growing up to realize no game is over at this level. Mistakes are made to allow this to happen, but this was hysterical to watch unfold.
Safe to say Alan Bowman earned himself a @** chewing from coach after the game with this move. Early celebrating will never leave this game and we love it! #Hornsup

Never celebrate until the game is over, this needs to be a teaching moment for Bowman.
