Watson's Accusers: A Settlement Isn't Happening

Twenty-two women have accused superstar Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson of sexual misconduct, and while Watson may want a settlement, word is it's not going to happen.

The attorney for the ladies, Tony Buzbee, has gone on the record stating that a settlement is not going to happen.

The legal rep for the ladies told the news to Fox 26's Mark Berman that they will continue to move forward with lawsuits against the superstar NFL quarterback.

Some of the 22 alleged victims have met with the NFL as well as the police department in Houston, and they "did not feel like they were being respected" during meetings with the league about the ongoing situation.

Watson has been vocal about wanting to leave Houston since the offseason started, especially once the team made a couple hires that Watson found questionable, like Nick Caserio to be the GM and the unknown David Culley to be the new head coach.

Word is that Watson wanted to have input in who was hired at the top of the food chain, but instead he was never consulted.

As for a new quarterback for the Texans, the team spent a third-round pick in 2021 on Davis Mills, which suggests the team is set to move on from Watson.

The issue is that Watson is a once-in-a-lifetime type of QB, and that no matter what, he is going to get a ton of looks around the league, should a team want to trade for him.

That is, if he can overcome all the legal matters.
