Tennessee Vols Basketball Releases Shirts Off, Masks On COVID 2020 Team Photo

Remember when college football teams would release oiled up and shredded team photos (for the ladies) to intimidate the competition? The Tennessee Vols football team became famous in the jersey-chasing meat market world for pumping iron and posing next to Lambos.

Other football teams were already on the trend or jumped in after the Vols Lambo shoot -- Duke celebrated its 2009 football season with an oiled up shoot, Nebraska didn't intimidate many opponents and then Jim Harbaugh kinda killed off the genre by going shirtless Football Coach Guy at a camp.

Suddenly I wasn't seeing the shirtless genre like back in the day. It's unclear if the Snap/Tok generation cares, but the Tennessee Vols basketball team might've just brought back the genre with its COVID-19 masks on, shirts off team photo that's going to get passed around the message boards.

Listen, I'm not much of a gym guy. I spend around 14-16 hours a day at a desk, especially in the winter. If these guys want to show off how much they've been crushing on the bench or how many miles they're getting in on the treadmill, then go for it. One day they'll have a couple kids, get a blogging job, crush multiple beers after mowing, snack during the 11 p.m. news and it'll be all over. Celebrate it while you can, guys.
