Tennessee Fans Are Ready For A Party Inside Neyland Stadium

It’s been a while since the atmosphere outside of Neyland Stadium was buzzing from excitement and anticipation of a game. Well, today was that day, as thousands of fans enjoyed themselves at tailgate parties and enjoying the sights around the stadium. Turns out the Vols had done enough so far this season to bring the nervous level of a game to fever pitch.

Speaking with a parking attendant as I arrived, fans starting lining up to get inside the G-10 parking garage at 6 am Saturday morning. Problem was the attendant wouldn’t open the doors until seven, leaving the fans having to wait a bit longer, but they didn’t mind. As one fan told me, “I would’ve been here on Friday morning, if I didn’t have to work”.

As the Vol Navy was filled with boats as far as the eye could see, the Vol Walk was watched by thousands of Tennessee fans, craving atmosphere they once witnessed weekly. This was a pregame atmosphere I haven’t seen in over five years.

Now, Tennessee must execute on the field, as they get ready to face the 13th ranked Ole Miss Rebels, in front of 102,455 fans.
