Tennessee Fans Get Married at Tailgate Wedding
On Sunday, Tennessee played its most dominant game against a good opponent since 2009, beating Utah State 38-7.
Maybe that means Butch Jones has the Vols on the right track, or maybe it was just good karma from a tailgate wedding that had taken place a couple of hours before kickoff.
The bride, Ashley Armes, wore a lovely and tasteful pair of orange and white checkerboard overalls with a white Tennessee jersey and white flip-flops. The groom, Daniel Dickson, wore an oversize orange Tennessee T-shirt, jeans and a black Vols cap.
Asked before kickoff what would happen if the Vols lost, Dickson said, "They're going to win, so it don't matter."
Welp, that's one way to get around the conflict of a fall wedding date.
